He also writes picture books for small readers. A Feathered Tale follows the Featherton family through stories of faith, forgiveness, kindness and patience, and Sammy and the Secret of Not Worrying tells of a squirrel learning to set his worries down.
Alongside that he works in real estate, and flies a Piper Malibu Mirage — often with a camera running.
